Because of a bug in the Drupal 7 PostgreSQL chain (either in PDO or the database) BIGINT handling is not fixed in today's Drupal 6 release. And you wonder why I hate that database.

i think the day that the company that owns the company that owns the company that owns mysql will say "starting from next release you must pay 300 $ for licensig (single copy)" you will start to love it :-)

p.s. what i want to emphasize is that the bare existence of free software can represent as a limiter (deterrent) for human greed :-)
